Operation Flashpoint: Red River este un nou titlu care a fost lansat de Codemasters in 2011, jocul urmand sa fie disponibil pentru PC, Xbox 360 si PlayStation 3.
Actiunea va avea loc intr-un viitor apropiat, in Tajikistan, jucatorii avand ocazia sa preia rolurile unor puscasi marini. Vor fi disponibile patru clase, gamerii avand de ales dintre Grenadier, Scout, Rifleman si Automatic Rifleman, fiecare clasa avand slabiciuni si puncte forte.
Inamici vor fi insurgenti si membri ai armatei chineze, luptele urmand sa aiba loc pe malul raului Vakhsh. Operation Flashpoint: Red River va putea fi jucat atat in modul singleplayer, cat si in modul co-op, punctele de experienta castigate urmand sa deblocheze tipuri de armament si diferite imbunatatiri pentru fiecare clasa in parte.
Spre deosebire de Operation Flashpoint 2, dezvoltarea lui Red River va avea loc pe urmatoarea generatie a motorului grafic EGO.
